Full HD LCD models are 100% capable of recreating the exceptional image quality that high definition sources offer. With more than 2 megapixels (1920 x 1080) of resolution, Full HD LCDs realise superbly detailed, lifelike realism from any HD source including, HD broadcasting, Blu-ray and HD Everio. What's more, the new GZ series features True 10-bit panel to offer excellent shades of gray and colour saturation. 1080p input is an advanced interface for a direct transmission of the latest Full HD 1080P sources and display every pixel without converting them. And for a noise-free transmission of digital sources, count on the HDMI interface with CEC compatibility, not only for connecting HD devices but also controlling them from a single remote control.
Full HD models deliver superbly detailed image reproduction of more than 2 megapixels (1920 x 1080), which represents double the resolution offered by WXGA panels.
WXGA: 1.05 megapixels

Full HD: 2.07 megapixels

The GZ series is equipped with a True 10-bit panel, which brings out the potential of the Full HD panel performance. True 10-bit panel is designed to maintain constant 10-bit quantisation throughout including processors such as the Clear Motion Drive and DynaPix HD. This results in natural shades of gray and colour reproduction with more than 1 billion colours.

The 1080p input terminal allows transmission of Full HD 1920 x 1080 information and properly reproduces the 2.07 megapixel broadcasting signal to ensure the precise picture quality that Full HD sources have to offer.

JVC LCD TVs feature HDMI™ inputs with HDCP support that allow direct transmission of digital audio and video content signals via a single cable for noise free, unaltered and uncompressed transmission from a compatible device with HDMI or DVI output*.
What's more, certain models are equipped with two or three HDMI CEC compatible inputs — a protocol that controls other CEC compatible devices such as Blu-ray or DVD recorders from a single remote controller.**

- * Audio signal for DVI input shares audio signal from component input.
DVI signal from PC is not supported. - ** Feature availability may vary depending on models.
