The development objective of this unique picture-processor engine was simple: enhance picture-quality parameters to best suit specific device or panel characteristics and thus ensure rich, lifelike images. What originally began as basic enhancement of resolution and scaling has evolved into the design of effective noise reduction systems and intelligent picture controls that help to improve colour saturation, contrast and contours.

Real-time noise reduction

Signal noise is always annoying and to alleviate this problem, DynaPix HD picture engines are designed to remove all types of noise to provide you with the best picture possible. It is intelligent enough to distinguish the quality of a range of signals from HD and SD (DVD) to digital and analogue broadcasting and even low-quality analogue sources. Once noise is removed, HD signals are strengthened while low-quality signals can be upscaled for higher performance.

Smart Picture and Eco Sensor

By precisely analysing the brightness levels of incoming signals, Smart Picture effectively compensates for scenes, frame by frame, to ensure that they are displayed at optimum brightness levels without sacrificing contrast and detail. Smart Picture can also be turned on or off depending on brightness levels of the picture.
